As you know, we have been praying for Ace Evans who had surgery Friday morning at Le Bonheur Children Hospital in Memphis.  Ace is coming home!!!  I do not have a full report, but do know that the cancer was gotten and he is heading to Magee!

Here is the praise report from his mother, Lacye:
Surgery took a whole lot longer than originally expected, but the team of doctors seem to think they were able to get both tumors with great certainty. St. Jude dermopathology is doing testing on what was removed and we will have results of that in about 7 days or so. That will determine for sure whether or not they got it all. If they didn’t, he will have to have a second surgery. He’s got a pretty good incision on his cheek and another one on his neck, but I can deal with a scar!!! He has several hundred internal stitches, and it’s sutured on the outside as well. The entire team of doctors felt very confident that they got it all, but pathology will confirm. God is good, and he was with Ace Man (Mama and Daddy, too) today.

Ace is on his way back to Magee!

Thank you prayer warriors!

Prayers for Ace

Ace and family are heading to Memphis to prepare for Ace’s surgery.  The surgery is scheduled for Friday, November 2ne at 5;30 AM.  This precious family…and they are a large strong bunch…need your prayers.  I am leaving information from the original post so everyone will know Ace’s story.  God bless the little children of the world…and God bless his family.  Ya’ll are loved!

Original post:

Ace Evans, son of Lacey and Adam Evans, is scheduled for a visit to Le Bonheur Children Hospital in Memphis on Thursday. Ace has been diagnosed with juvenile melanoma.

Ace is the cutest blonde haired little boy you have ever seen! The first time I saw him at the Sportsplex several years ago…I was whose darling son is that??? He was full of energy and life enjoying every minute at the ball field with friends and family.

Lacey is the Alpha Agent in Magee. Adam is the softball coach and Simpson Academy. Ace is their only child.

The fear of the unknown is often what gets us…the “what ifs?”…

I am so glad Ace is a child of God. No matter what, he is protected by a mighty God who will walk anyway with this precious family.

Please remember this family. They are blessed with a large loving family…and a host of friends. I know how powerful our MageeNews.com prayer warriors are. You are needed now!
