Joe and Angela talked to a groggy Natalie. She and Dan are in the same room and once again “surgery went well” is what we know. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the continued prayers! They are felt! (Lisa)

**Daniel called Joe and Angela. Nat should be out of recovery in about 30 minutes. Believe things went well but no details. They will call again when she’s awake enough to talk to her mom and dad. Thank you for continued prayers! (Lisa Herrington)

*Daniel is out of surgery and doctor says he should be fine.  Waiting for word on Natalie

Daniel and Natalie Stephens Herrington have been in a serious wreck while serving in the mission field in the Philippines.

The information I am posting is info received from the family or close friends.

Daniel and Natalie were in a wreck in Cagayan de Oro this afternoon. A car pulled over into them on the scooter. Scooter was under the car. They both have injuries to their left legs, no bones broken. They are in surgery to close their wounds and for Daniel (his wounds are around his knee) they will see if there is any ligament damage. Nat has a very deep and long cut to her shin. Please be in prayer for them, fast healing, no infections, praise GOD for His hand on them and their doctors and nurses and mom’s and dad’s! Angela and Joe

3:17 AM—Lisa got to talk to Daniel who is very emotional.  No broken bones…Natalie still in x-ray

4:40 AM—Both will be going into surgery now.  Natalie has an 8 inch gash on the front inside of her shin.  Daniel has several gashes on his knee and the doctors will see if there is any ligament damage when sewing him up.  Natalie flew up in the air about 10 feet.  The scooter went under the car and Daniel went down with the scooter.  Daniel crawled over to Natalie and they got Natalie’s phone and called for help.

I will post updates as they become available.  A family friend is posting updates on Lisa’s Facebook page.

Please pray for this precious couple and their families….Daniel and Natalie are so far away and I know  Pat and Lisa Herrington and Joe and Angela Stephens are distraught.  We serve an awesome God… pray…..

Our prayers are with them both and both families. Our families have had the pleasure of knowing both families and I can not imagine being this far from a child and stress of wording. May God give y’all strength.
