Obituary for Bryce

Update

“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord” 2 Corinthians 5:8
Today Bryce is present with the Lord. We can’t explain the peace the Lord has given me and my family. Through Bryce’s hospital stay and death, God has become more real than ever before. I have personally witnessed his power, his peace, and his mercy like never before. My life has been forever changed. I learned how to praise him in the storm and how to get comfort through worship and scripture when it doesn’t seem possible. God has never left our side, and we have not denied who God is. God is good, but this world is bad.
I have often said when tragedy happens to others that I don’t know what I would do. But now I do know, I still honor, worship, and glorify God and God alone. I trusted God fully and completely to earthly heal my son, but I completely trusted and prayed his will and asked that His will would be done. I know that God can take care of him better than we can, and Bryce we now be completely healed forever! Praise God that there is a day we will meet again!
To Batson staff and doctors, we would not have ask for better. You are amazing and truly care about your patients and families. Thank you for taking care of my precious Bryce and family.
Bryce loved people, and he was loved by everyone. This was evident in the outpouring of prayers and support from all across the country. We would have not been able to be strong during this journey, without our faith and the faith shown by all of the people that loves Bryce and our Family.
He will always be remembered as our most handsome, talented, caring, precious baby boy. Please, continue to keep us in your prayers.
Until we meet again my son! “Neither know we what to do, but our eyes are upon thee.” 2 Chronicles 20:12

Update

10/15

It’s all in God’s hands. Waiting on earthly or heavenly healing whatever God sees fit. We trust God’s will no matter the outcome.

Update

Bryce needs your prayers more than ever today. Cant go into details right now. Bryce needs another miracle.

UPDATE

10/13
Keep praying it’s working!! God’s strength and power has been so evident through this journey, and we will continue to give him all the honor and glory.
Thank you for your prayers. We are humbled by everyone’s continued prayers. It means everything to us to know that people are praying continuously, praying down on their knees, and praising God for what He has and will do in Bryce’s precious life.
Bryce is still on the vent with sedation, but the vent setting are lower. He still has an air leak in left lung but right side is fine. They are giving him meds to improve his kidney function. The EKG and echo was normal 🙌The doctor wants to do a brain MRI as soon as he is stable enough to leave the room hopefully in the next few days. His BP and temperature is staying at a more normal level. He is doing a little better today, and we praise God for this blessing.

8-year-old Bryce Humphrey of Seminary was critically injured in a 4 wheeler accident on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.

Bryce has strong ties to Simpson County with his grandparents, Diane and Roger White of Mendenhall.

Following the accident, Bryce was airlifted to Blair Batson Hospital in Jackson where he remains in guarded condition.

Prayer chains were immediately started for Bryce and the family.

I will post updates as received.

Thank you so much for praying for Bryce. He is still very, very sick and needs your continued prayers. All his organs were effected and need healing, but God continues to take care of every problem one step at a time. Last night when I needed it most God continues to show me that he will take care of Bryce.

I commented the devotional that God sent me last night when I needed it. Please, continue to thank God and praise his name when you pray for Bryce.

From the mama, Kendra White Humphrey
