I just learned Monday night that Lequieta Floyd is ill. Our prayers are needed.

“Prayers requested please for my precious mother, Lequieta Floyd, who has just been diagnosed with kidney cancer with metastasis to both lungs, right breast and at least one lymph node in the chest. She will be having more extensive testing after the holidays to determine treatment options. Please remember her in your prayers and the rest of our family as we prepare ourselves to face the upcoming challenges that lie ahead. For those of you who know my mother, she is very strong in her Christian faith and stands unshaken thru this devastating news. She firmly states over and over .. ” God is in control!” And as we all believe this firmly, it is still very difficult to process it all. During this Thanksgiving week, we are thankful for family and friends. Reach out to your family and hug them a little tighter, tell them you love as often as possible, keep making memories as it can all change in just seconds.”
