Brother Paul had a stroke yesterday.  He is in St Dominic Hospital in Jackson.

Here is an update from his daughter Pam:

They gave my daddy the stroke medicine between 11 and 12 last night and by the time I left st. Dominic’s at 2 a.m. he has had a complete reversal of his symptoms.
I even called at 3 a.m. and they said how well he was doing.
But the nurse called me at 7:30 this morning and told me that at 5 a.m. and had another episode and his right side was weak again and his speech slurred.
They did another CAT scan and there was no bleeding but because of the dye used in the  CAT scan they have to wait until tonight to do the MRI that they need to do.
Therapists are working with him and they are doing heart monitors and tests to make sure there’s no reason for him to have a blood clot of any kind.
My daddy’s heart and spirit remain the same and he is alert and is aware of what is happening to him. Please join me and gather any prayer warriors you can to join me an agreement for his complete and total healing in the name of Jesus our Jehovah Rapha!

One of the greatest men of God. Had such an impact on my life growing up and as an adult. Love him dearly.

Praying for Paul and hope to get a better report today. May the Great Physician lead the doctors to know the exact and proper procededures to help him. How I loved playing piano for him at First Baptist Picayune for so many years.
