The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in James 3:13: “Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.” Oh, what a challenge for the Christian! James is here telling the early Christians to take Jesus as their example and to live a life with the Holy Spirit as their Guide. Pray for wisdom; pray for guidance; and pray for discernment. So live that others will see Jesus in us, in our daily walk. Do we do deeds in the humility which comes from wisdom? Do we have understanding spirits? Are our intentions honorable and upright? In all these things, let us seek God and His righteousness, and He’ll provide the rest. Amen and amen!
