Few details are available at this time. According to news reports at approximately 7:30pm Wednesday, an 18 year old white male was swept away by water current after he went into the Strong River from swinging on a rope into the water. This incident occurred at D’Lo Water Park in Simpson County and the young male has not been recovered. Dive teams along with emergency personnel with boats are searching for the young male at this time. Stay tuned to MageeNews.com as more information becomes available.
