According to Dr. Robert Sanders, Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and Secondary Schools of Simpson County, one female athlete at Magee High School has tested positive for COVID-19.

The young lady plays both volleyball and basketball which exposed both teams to the coronavirus.  The same girls are on the basketball and volleyball team; therefore, 15 girls were exposed.  The entire team was tested.  Only one member tested positive.  The other team members are in quarantine which should be completed by the time school starts on August, 17, 2020.
