PriorityOne Bank announces the retirement of Brinson Polk from its Board of Directors, effective February 26th. Polk’s departure marks the end of an era, as he served as a dedicated director for 21 years.

Polk’s legacy at PriorityOne traces back to his mother, Edith Polk, who initially occupied the position he later assumed. The Polk family’s connection with the bank runs deep, with Brinson’s father, the late Gene B. Polk, being one of the founding members of the Bank of Simpson County. Over time, the institution evolved through mergers to become PriorityOne Bank.

While we are saddened by Brinson’s departure, we are thrilled for him to embark on this new chapter in retirement. The contributions his family has made to our organization are immeasurable and deeply valued.” In the 21 years Brinson has served on the Board, PriorityOne has grown from $286 Million to $1.1 billion in asset size.

Polk Senior Center stands as a testament to the Polk family’s enduring legacy and proudly serves the senior citizen community of Simpson County and neighboring areas.

PriorityOne Bank extends its warmest wishes to Brinson Polk for a fulfilling retirement and expresses sincere gratitude for his years of exemplary service.
