Ok…here we go! Election time is rolling around! Gregg Harper announced Thursday he would not be running for re-election in the House of Representatives…wonder who will seek that seat? I hear rumblings that many people would like Andy Gipson to consider putting his hat in the race! Who knows!
What about Thad Cochran’s position? …not open for awhile yet…but most people do not feel he will run again due to health and age. Losing his seniority will be tough on our state.
Now we’ve got Chris Purdum qualifying for Chancery Judge District 13 Post 1. Judge David Shoemake presently holds that position. Chancery judge will be a hot race!
We’ve only just begun! Maybe politics will heat up our weather!
