A frequent problem for politicians is their signs being taken! Well, it has started again in Simpson, Covington, Jasper, and Smith counties. Personally, I don’t feel “sign stealing” ever stopped. Many people dislike political sign everywhere. But, we all know the signs are needed. Those signs cost a ton of money! What is always interesting to me is the signs that “stay” and the signs that “go.” Seems to me…there is a loop between the two…just saying!!!
While I am on the sign subject…I also feel as if the people who “lost out” in the August 4th race need to clean up their old signs…really, enough is enough! You put ‘em out now pick ‘em up. …just plain trashy!
If anyone sees signs being stolen, please contact the sheriff’s office…..we need to respect everyone’s property.
