The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in Psalm 19:14: “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.” This is one of my favorite verses in the BIBLE, and we hear it quoted from pulpits quite often. It was a prayer voiced and penned by the psalmist who was totally committed to serving his Lord and Master with his whole heart, body, and mind. What a wonderful example of complete devotion to God the psalmist still is for us. Pleasing God should be our ultimate goal, as well, each and every day of our lives. Amen!
