The Scriptural passage for today is found in Isaiah 50:7: “Because the sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore, have I set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame.” The prophet Isaiah of the Old Testament knew well his Lord and Savior. He knew, as should we, that if we keep our eyes on God and place our full trust in Him, we will not be put to shame. We will not be disgraced. Isn’t it comforting to know that we can have the same abiding faith in God as His chosen messenger Isaiah had all those centuries ago? Oh, yes, God will guide us over the crossing if we’ll remain steadfast and not flinch. Amen!
