Phenia Maude Maness, 84 of Raleigh, Mississippi passed from this life on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Miss Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.
Born Sunday, May 25, 1930 in Rankin County, Mississippi,
She was a member of Galilee Baptist Church.
Surviving her are a son, Bruce Maness of White Oak, and daughters, Becky Martin (Jeff) of Raleigh, MS and Mary Garner (Harold) of Mendenhall, MS; 10 grand children; 9 great grand children and Brother, Robert Echols of Braxton.
She was preceded in death by, Husband George Pug Maness, sons, Jimmy Lee Maness and Johnny Maness. Parents, Charlie and Sarentha Morgan Echols, Three Brothers and Eight Sisters.
A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday at Galilee Baptist Church with the Bro. Marcus Burnham officiating. Interment will be in Galilee Baptist Church Cemetery, Mendenhall, MS.
Serving as Pallbearers are, Scotty Maness, Jeremy Maness, Jonathan Maness, Jason Martin, Nick Garner and Franklin Miskelly.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee, 302 SW 8th Ave, Magee, Mississippi and Friday May 8, 2015 from 9:00 AM till service time at Galilee Baptist Church
