Pete Kleinpeter, age 71, passed away on August 24, 2022.
He was born on June 28, 1951, to Hubert Kleinpeter, Sr. and Ola Whatley Kleinpeter.
Pete served in the Army for twelve years, beginning his service as a military police officer and reaching the rank of staff Sargent. He was a certified instrument flight-rated commercial pilot, flying pipeline inspections across the southeast. He retired as an over-the-road owner/operator truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Gay Kleinpeter (Sullivan); children, Christophe Kleinpeter (Christina), David Kleinpeter (Kim), Ramey Kleinpeter (Meghan), Peyton Kleinpeter (Heather), Dana Puckett and Rachel Cook (Joseph); ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at New Sardis Baptist Church in Mt. Olive, MS from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM. Service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 11:30 AM with Bro. David McCord officiating. Interment will follow at New Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
