Beautiful sunshine makes a great day for some softball. Simpson Academy started their “temp” spring season off playing Magee on Saturday at the Magee Sportsplex. Magee jumps out on top with a 1-0 lead in the first inning with Simpson coming back to tie 3-3 in the 4th inning. Gracie Knight hits a single home run to make it 3-4, Simpson. A fun day in the sun at the ballpark ends with a score of 6-5 giving Magee the victory.
