With a legacy dating back to 1908, Peoples Bank has consistently prioritized community service and financial empowerment. Over the past five years, the bank has approved 2,346 small business loans, totaling $718 million. In the last decade, this figure has reached 3,112 loans, nearing $1 billion, reinforcing Peoples Bank’s position as an SBA Preferred Lender and trusted financial partner for small businesses nationwide.

“Our mission has always been to treat others the way we would like to be treated,” said Peoples Bank CEO Dennis Ammann, “This recognition reflects our dedication to supporting entrepreneurs, creating jobs, and driving economic development by providing each customer with our experience and knowledge to acquire the funding they need to succeed.”

Senior Vice President John Blanton, who oversees SBA lending for Peoples Bank said, “This award is a recognition of the hard work of our SBA team and lenders.  We try to go above and beyond in helping small business owners get the financing they need to achieve their dreams.  Where other banks say ‘No’, we try to find a way to say ‘Yes’”.

As a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and a leader in SBA lending, Peoples Bank continues to be a catalyst for business growth by providing affordable capital to consumers and businesses.
