Peoples Bank donates $500 towards the Mississippi Cattlemen’s Association during their recent Annual Benefit Auction at the state convention and trade show. The auction item was a Hugh Freeze autographed football. The proceeds benefit Mississippi Cattlewomen and junior programs.
The Cattlewomen’s group uses the money to award scholarships. This year, the Cattlewomen awarded $2,000 in scholarships, in addition to the $65,000 awarded by the MS Cattlemen’s Foundation.
