(1/16/1950 – 3/24/2024)

Peggy Jean Garner, 74 of Magee, MS went to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 24, 2024. She was born Monday, January 16, 1950 in Desoto County, MS.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 302 8th Ave SW, Magee, MS with a Funeral Service beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Magee, MS. Bro. Norris Ables will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James Hulon Garner; father, Wayne Seymour; mother, Sadie Belcher Seymour; brothers, Ted Seymour, Johnny Seymour, Donald Seymour and Willie Seymour.

Survivors include her daughters, Stacey Anderson (Jimmy) and Sharon Garner; grandchildren, Mac Anderson, Jackson Anderson and Beau Beauchamp; brothers, Billy Seymour, Dan Seymour;  sister, Jackie Seymour; sister-in-law, Ann Abercrombie (Reed), and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Bryce Magee, Tommy Bishop, Alan Brewer, Kyle Brewer, Jeffrey Sullivan, Josh Seymour, and Jim Seymour.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mac Anderson, Jackson Anderson, Beau Beauchamp, Jimmy Anderson, Dan Seymour, and Reed Abercrombie.

Special music will be performed by Dr. Sharolyn Magee.
