The Pearl Police Department has confirmed an incident involving former Magee Head Coach Jim Nowell. According to official documentation by the Pearl Police Department, Jim Nowell turned himself in on June 17th after a Harrassing and Bullying Phone (text) Usage charge was brought against him by a teacher of the Simpson County School District. Pearl Police Department confirmed that Jim Nowell posted a $1,000.00 bail. The preliminary court date has been set for July 9th, 2015.

    Proud of the teacher for standing up for herself, executing the zero tolerance policy for bullying among students and/or staff, and setting an example for all students not to stand for inappropriate behavior from anyone.
