Paul Leslie Craft, Sr.
(July 3, 1947 – May 21, 2022)

          Paul Leslie Craft, Sr., 74, of McRae, Georgia, died suddenly on Saturday, May 21, 2022. He was born on July 3, 1947, in Taylorsville, Mississippi.

          A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 27, 2022, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at 113 Front Street, Taylorsville, Mississippi 39168, with the burial at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Mize Mississippi.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564

          A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.

          Mr. Craft was the son of Lester David “LD” Craft and Helen Maudell Sullivan Craft. He served in the United States Army National Guard for 23 years, worked for Georgia Pacific for 18 years, before retiring from Wiggins Lumber.

          Survivors include his wife, Kaye Craft of McRae, Georgia; one son, Paul Craft, Jr. of McRae, Georgia; two daughters, Gigi Beard (Jared) of Seminary Mississippi and Jessica Craft of McRae, Georgia; one brother, Joe Craft (Doris) of Mize Mississippi; one sister, Rose Blakeney (Kenneth) of Flowood Mississippi; four grandchildren, Quincy Beard (Clare) of Seminary Mississippi, Mackenzie Craft of McRae, Georgia, Katelin Magee (Brad) of Wichita Kansas, and Madelyn Underwood (Kyle) of Birmingham Alabama; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
