Patsy Nell Ford, 85, of Mount Olive, MS passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at her home.

She was born August 21, 1937, in Mount Olive, MS to the late Colon and Birdie Sue (Reynolds) Craft.

Patsy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family, church family and friends. She was an active member of New Hope Baptist Church where she served on numerous committees. She previously served as a Sunday School and VBS Teacher. She loved kids and watching them mature.

Patsy worked as a supervisor for Northern Electric in Mount Olive for 20 years. She continued working as a supervisor with WarmKraft for 10 years.

Patsy was known for her green thumb. Her hobbies included growing, showing, and competing her roses with The American Rose Society and growing and showing her daylilies with the Hattiesburg Daylily Society where she won numerous awards.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bronson Craft of Magee.

She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-seven years, Kenneth Ford of Mount Olive; son, Craig Magee (Beverly) of Magee; daughter, Patrice Ford Boykin (Greg) of Mount Olive; five grandchildren, Justin and Jason Magee of Magee, Bradley Boykin (Argentina) of Wesson, Alex Boykin of Mount Olive, and Ashley Nichols of Mendenhall; two sisters, Barbara Bass of Carson and Janie Hand of Brandon, and sister-n-law, Betty Craft of Magee.

Visitation will be Friday, September 23, 2022, at New Hope Baptist Church in Mount Olive, MS from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. Services will begin at 1:00 pm with interment immediately following in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Arender will officiate the service.

Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
