Patsy Gibson Jones passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019, at Belhaven Senior Care in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born on August 28, 1929, to Zack L Gibson, Sr. and Rochelle English Gibson.

She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper until she retired in 1991. Most of her years spent with the Simpson County Schools.

She was a lifetime and dedicated member of Mendenhall United Methodist Church, as were her parents. She held many positions in her time there.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Zack L. Gibson and Rochelle English Gibson; siblings, Zack L Gibson, Jr., James A Gibson, Mary Nelle Gibson Cockrell; a beloved grandson, Zackery Kent Jones and niece, Lisa Erin Gibson.

She is survived by her children, Lloyd Michael Jones (Sarah) of Brandon, Jan Jones Magee (Paul) of Mendenhall, Jeffrey Kent Jones (Pam) of Mendenhall; grandsons, Tony Magee (Sydney), Tim Magee (Kristi), Ty Magee, Ryan Jones (Mary Austin), Jace Jones; seven great-grandchildren, Skylar Magee, Kenleigh Magee, Mylie Magee, Jones Magee, Breanna Jones, Libby Jones and Harris Jones. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Barbara Gibson and five nieces.

Funeral services will be held at Mendenhall United Methodist Church on Monday, December 2, 2019, at 11:00 am. Visitation is from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. Interment will be in Mendenhall City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mendenhall United Methodist Church, PO Box 85, Mendenhall, MS 39114.

Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
