Dear Citizens of Magee,
It has come to my attention that stickers bearing the messaging of a group called Patriot Front have been posted on gas pumps at some gas stations in our city. This group is attempting to recruit young adults and others to join their cause.
According to the FBI and other sources, Patriot Front is a white supremacist organization that believes their ancestors conquered America and that the nation was bestowed solely upon them. They promote a hateful ideology under the guise of “American nationalism” and claim that America should reflect a “Pan European nation.” Since 2019, they have been responsible for a significant amount of white supremacist propaganda using flyers, posters, stickers, and banners to spread their message. They also participate in flash demonstrations to increase their visibility and influence.
According to the FBI and the Anti Defamation League, Patriot Front seeks to form a new state reserved for the “descendants of its creators” and is actively working to recruit new members. Their actions are not only divisive but also run counter to the values of our community and our nation.
I want to remind everyone that hate crimes targeting any race, whether white, Black, Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern, LGBTQ, or any religious group will be met with swift and severe legal consequences. Not only does it violate state law, but it also violates federal law. The Magee Police Department is committed to protecting every member of our community from hate fueled violence and intimidation.
If you see any suspicious or hate related activity, please contact the Magee Police Department immediately.
Together, we stand united against hate and intolerance.
Chief Denis J Borges.
