Patrick Delaney Cook, 31, of Stringer, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at his home in Stringer, Mississippi. He was born Friday, January 20, 1989, in Jackson, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Galilee Baptist Church on Lib Vanderford Road, Mendenhall, Mississippi.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 5, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. at Galilee Baptist Church.
The burial will follow at Galilee Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Roger Barnes will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401
Pat graduated from Puckett High School where he played football and baseball. He loved football and won several awards during his time at Puckett. After graduation, Pat went to Jones County Junior College and then began working in the oil field. Pat enjoyed hanging out with family and friends and loved watching football, especially Ole Miss. He never met a stranger and brought joy and laughter to every conversation. His girls were his pride and joy and He loved them with everything he had.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Clinton and Annie Merle Cook.
Survivors include his wife, Danielle Valentine Cook of Stringer; three children, Chloe, Preslee, Lanie Cook all of Stringer; mother, Lisa Cook; father, Charles Thompson; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Valentine of Stringer; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Pallbearers will be Josh Brantley, Blake Bowman, Daniel Kelly, Aaron Crowe, Justin Harrison, and Devin Porter. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Yeingst, Mark Ray, Drake Cushing, Drew Cook, Dillon Winstead, Robbie Christman, Ryan Cook, and Cade Barrett.
