Patricia Ann Geisenhoff (Pat)
(February 2, 1935 – December 19, 2022)

            Patricia Ann Geisenhoff (Pat), 87, joined her eternal home on December 19th, 2022. Patricia was born in Center Ridge, MS on Feb. 2nd, 1935, and lived most of her life in Smith County. She was the 3rd child of Wilson & Bertha Ainsworth.

            In 1952, she married Truman Blakeney and had 4 children. After losing her children’s father, Patricia provided for her family as a single mother, overcame hardship and led a fulfilled life. She worked at Stephens Sportswear for 26 years. After her retirement, she eventually married Neil Geisenhoff and resided in Bay Springs, MS. There, she was very active in her church, the garden club while also enjoying golf and traveling. Pat and Neil were married for 14 years until his passing.

            Those that knew Pat appreciated her sense of humor, her friendly smile and her ability to make new friends. Her lifelong hobbies included working in her yard, crafting (Quilting/crocheting/knitting/cross stitching) and gifting her work to her family and friends.

            In her last years, she spent her summers in Massachusetts with her loving companion Fred Landry, where she met many new friends who she claimed as her family.

            Pat is predeceased by her husband(s), Truman Blakeney & Neil Geisenhoff, companion, Fred Landry, daughter, Deborah Blakeney, Sister, Shirley Ainsworth, Brother, WJ Ainsworth.

She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Pardue, Sons, Jeff Blakeney (Connie) & Stacy Blakeney (Ann), 5 Grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, Sisters, Clara Welburn, Rosetta Morrow, Beverly Brophy, and brother, Mike Ainsworth, and a host of nieces and nephews.

            Her family would like to thank the staff at Mississippi Care Center in Raleigh for lovingly caring for her the last 4 years of her life.

            A Celebration of Life will be held at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at 113 Front Street, Taylorsville, MS, on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at 1:00 p.m.

            A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.  The burial will follow at Bezer Cemetery on Hwy 37 N, Raleigh, Mississippi.   Bro. Tommy Shields will be officiating.  Special music will be provided by Mr. Bruce Gable and Mrs. Dana Vowell.

            Pallbearers will be Rodger Pardue, Dale Rodriguez, Tom Desper, Alexander Blakeney, Scott Baker, and John Bryant.

            In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Taylorsville Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 527, Taylorsville, MS 39168.
