Pat Summitt, former head coach for the Tennessee Volunteers until 2011, has lost her battle with Alzheimer’s at the age of 64.

Summit faced her toughest opponent and it was not one of the basketball court.  It was Alzheimer’s. But, like any opponent she faced her disease with fierce and determination.
