Located in the heart of Magee, the City Park has closed areas.

The City crew, under direction of Tim Bray, checked  the city park early Tuesday, October 24, 2023, morning and made the decision to close the climbing tower.  Tape and signs were placed around the building informing the public of the decision.

At the November 7, 2023 meeting of the Magee Board of Aldermen a decision will be made whether to go ahead and tear down the remainder of the park.

The picnic tables and track are not affected at this time.

Please remind others of the park closing.
