Pansy V. Mason passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland at the age of 83. She was born on October 30, 1934, Louie B. and Mittie (Green) Valentine in Taylorsville, MS.
Pansy was a retired homemaker who worked in her earlier years with Sears and Roebuck and MS School Pictures. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Magee, MS prior to moving where she began attending Country Woods Baptist Church and Country Maidens Sunday School Class in Byram, MS.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Luke E. Mason and brother, Robert C. Valentine.
She is survived by two sons, David C. Mason (Pam), Mike Mason (Deborah); one daughter, Cynthia Ann Sullivan (Donny); one brother, Donald R. Valentine (Joan); one sister, Joyce V. Grubbs (Billy); seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation for friends will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee. Services are scheduled for Thursday, March 15, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee with Bro. Jon Daniels officiating. The final resting place will be in the Magee City Cemetery in Magee, MS.
