Assists at State Capitol
Abby Caughman of Mendenhall recently served as a page for the Mississippi Senate. Pages generally run errands for officials and Senate staff. Abby is pictured with Lt. Governor Tate Reeves and her father, Senator Chris Caughman who sponsored her visit. Abby is the daughter of Senator & Mrs. Chris Caughman and attends Simpson County Academy. When asked about the week, Abby said, “This week I had lots of fun and made a bunch of new friends. This has been a great learning experience for me.”
Lila Hanna of Mendenhall recently served as a page for the Mississippi Senate. Pages generally run errands for officials and Senate staff. Lila is pictured with Lt. Governor Tate Reeves and Senator Chris Caughman who sponsored her visit. Lila is the daughter of Shannon Welch and attends Mendenhall High School. When asked about the week, Lila said, “I had an amazing time this week. I made many new friends and learned how our state government works.”
