Political signs are being stolen in the city of Magee! The stealing situation is becoming quite a problem for several of the candidates. These signs are costly! We fuss because people don’t pick them up after an election…but hey, don’t pick them up during an election. I’m checking on what will be done to anyone who steals a sign….in other words, don’t do it! Running for office is tough and expensive. These people are giving of their time to see Magee become an even a better place. Show a little respect!

A city wide Easter Egg Hunt is planned for Saturday, April 15th at the Magee Sportsplex beginning at 9:30. The event is for all children ages birth-grade 6. This free event is sponsored by First Baptist Church of Magee. For additional information, call 601-849-3304. Hope to see you at the hunt!
Easter sunrise service at First United Methodist Church beginning at 7:00 with breakfast to follow is also on tap for Easter weekend.

Continued prayers for the Booth family. Mrs. Helen Bishop had surgery to repair a broken hip and leg. She is in St D but will probably come to MGH to rehab. If things go well tonight (Sunday), Claudine May is scheduled for surgery Monday. Remember our sweet friends Lewis and Bernadine Mashburn, Nan Craven, Joyce McNair, Jean Beatty, Mary Joyce Walters, J. M. Shows, Dale Dukes, Becky Milling…and others. Mrs. Jean Ford, Jimmy Clyde’s mother, is coming home from the hospital following recovery from a broken hip. Please remember Mamaw Jean…she is a precious lady! Please send any prayer request to Sue@mageenews.com
Don’t forget to send questions for the Political Town Hall Meeting scheduled for April 25th at the Community House beginning at 6. Ask your candidate!!! Send questions to Sue@mageenews.com
