What a glorious day!!! I’ve got a few things I need to update.

The Simpson County Lake is reopening June 7, 2023 at 6:00 AM.

According to the MS Game and Fish, the campgrounds will also open at that time.

Skiing is back with limited days.  Ski days are Thursday and Sunday beginning at 12 PM and ending at sunset.

A special Youth Fishing Day has been scheduled for Saturday, June 3, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. (15 and under)

(The MS Game and Fish commission has asked that skiers not ski on Thursday, the 8th due to expected overcrowding of the lake with anglers.)

MageeNews.com is still accepting pictures of business in Magee for the Mooie Looie contest.  Email to Sue…include info about the business.

Last week a local business was submitted.  The Shell station near Millcreek.  The business has lovely knockout roses!  Thank you to all businesses who go above and beyond in keeping their business attractive.
