OUR PRAYER TO GOD
Listen today as you read this devotion and let Jesus turn that house into a home. Our reading today comes from Psalm 27:1-14.
Verse 1-Tells us that God guides us in everything. If we let Him do this then salvation can and will be ours. We must not be afraid and let God give us power from day to day.
Verse 2-With God on our side our enemies will not over take us.
Verse 3-God helps us to over come our wars against the world and our self.
Verse 4- Our goal is to live with God in heaven forever.
Verse 5-In our troubles God is with us and hides us in Him. For we stand on Him only.
Verse 6-Give God praises and present our self to Him Holy and exceptable.
Verse 7-We must cry out to God.
Verse 8-Seek God and only God.
Verse 9-God would not be God if He hid from us. He is always there.
Verse 10-Our parents may turn us away by being disappointed un us but God never forsakes us.
Verse 11-Be a shining light for God always. Let God be our teacher and leader. We can show our enemies that God loves simple lives.
Verse 12-Don’t be a lover of the world by letting the world take us away from loving God. Don’t let Satan be ruler of our life.
Verse 13-We die out to the world daily. The goodness of God will always follow.
Verse 14- God’s time is not our time. Stand tall for God. Strength we will receive from God if we wait on Him and let Him truly bless us.
