I learned today of the death of my friend, Lance Hayes. I’ve known Lance a long time…in fact, my sons played “against’ Lance for years in baseball.
Until, one has experienced the sudden loss of a loved one…there is really no way to explain the emptiness, the horror, the shock, the sadness.
My heart is broken for his precious family and many friends.
We know…”tell the person you love how you feel”…but so often we are “living” in our own world.
What can I say, love the one you’re with….and always say those special words…I love you…those 3 words live a lifetime.
