CEO & President of PriorityOne Bank Robbie Barnes spoke with me by teleconference Tuesday morning, March 24, 2020.
Robbie explained that the crisis is a health crisis not a bank crisis. “Our banks are insured by FDIC and we are safe,” stated Barnes.
All banks in Simpson County have adjusted their schedules and opening of the lobbies of the banks. As Robbie pointed out, there really isn’t any type of banking business that we can not handle.
Most all transactions are worked through the drive-through. PriorityOne has opened every drive-through lane in order to better accommodate their customers. If anyone needs to speak to a manager or loan officer, call the bank and make an appointment.

I hope you will watch the video. I did “loose” Robbie at the end when the internet connection stopped working. I think you will find the interview informative and reassuring.
