On May 11, 2021, a Simpson County Jury returned a Guilty verdict against Gloria Brewer Wells late Tuesday evening.
A Simpson County Grand Jury indicted Wells in August of 2020 for Sale of Methamphetamine.
District Attorney Chris Hennis and Assistant District Attorney Chris Purdum represented the State of Mississippi and presented the evidence at trial. After being found guilty, the Court sentenced Wells to serve 16 years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
