By James Davis
The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Romans 2:13: “For it is not those who hear the Law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the Law who will be declared righteous.” Simply being a hearer of God’s Word is never enough to please God. No, one must also be a doer. We must remember that even the devil believes, but he doesn’t follow God’s instructions. Merely believing and hearing are not sufficient. We must actually practice the teachings and precepts found in the Word of God. Let us be found reading, hearing, and practicing those strictures outlined in the BIBLE so we’ll be deemed righteous by God. Amen!
Happy Friday! Pray for rain to end this drought.
