Wow, the 2017 Political Town Hall Meeting is a thing of the past…well, not completely.  You can watch the event on the home page (near the bottom in the Featured video spot) whenever you like!

The candidates did awesome…of course, none of the incumbent aldermen attended…I just find that quite interesting!  You are already in office…up for re-election and you choose “not to meet the public!”  I’m just saying, I don’t think that looks good!

Everyone did great…and I think several people made their minds up at the meeting who to vote for!!!!!

The event was wayyyyyyyy toooooooo long!  (Got to work on that)  But, we had a good meeting…a good turn out…and learned a lot about each candidate.

Remember Primary elections are Tuesday, May 2nd.  We will live stream the returns as they come in Tuesday night.

Thank you to the candidates who cared enough to come and “put themselves out there!”…Thanks to the citizens who attended and listened!  Ya’ll are great!

Thanks to our “audience” who watched the Town Hall Meeting on MageeNews.com.

While I’m on a “thank you” roll, I’ve just got to say again what a great staff I have!  They are the best bunch of people….working tirelessly to “pull off” this event!  Thanks to Patrice, Michael, Trevor, Sarah, Charlie, and Jason.  I love ya’ll.
