Saturday, March 12th was a happy day! I was privileged to be apart of the renewal of the wedding vows between Brad and Pam Walley. The day proved to be a day of celebration of Praise and Thanksgiving.

Pam and Brad have been married for 8 1/2 years…of those years…Pam or Brad have been sick for 6 of them!

Brother Greg Stanford, Pam’s former Youth Paster at FBC in the late 80’s and early 90’s, came from Douglasville, Georgia to lead in the renewal ceremony.

The “original” wedding party was in attendance…along with the “original” greeters…Diane and Sue!

Brother Greg told the story of their marriage…the ups and downs…through sickness and in health…what a wonderful service…one that touched everyone in attendance.

Following the ceremony, which was held at Magee Congregational Methodist Church, the couple hosted a lovely meal in the fellowship hall… a great time of sharing remembrances and love!

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; when there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. (1 Corinthians 13: 4-8)

Congratulations to Pam and Brad…..and blessings on their beautiful church…Magee Congregational Methodist Church located at 507 Cherry Street NW in Magee.
