Oden Tanner, 75, passed from this life Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Mississippi Care Center of Raleigh.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Rose Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Danny Dickerson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements, (601)849-5031.
Mr. Tanner is survived by; daughter – Bridgette Sartin of Petal; son – Derek Tanner of Magee, MS, sisters – Doris Welborn of Mize, Linda Cox of Columbia, Hazel Sullivan of Magee, and Bea Chaney of California; Brother – Rudolph Tanner of Leaksville; 4 grandchildren; numerous great- grandchildren.
Mr. Tanner is preceded in death by parents Otis and Lee Tanner; grandchild – Frank Sartin, brother – Ferrell Tanner, and sister – Ethel Cummings.
