By James Davis
The Scriptural passage for this morning is found in Ephesians 2:13: “Now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.” The apostle is here speaking to the early church and especially to the gentiles among the congregation that through the shedding of Jesus’ blood on the cross, He became the atoning sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. We who were once without hope are now afforded the opportunity to become heirs and joint heirs with Jesus through all eternity. Amen!
Let’s take every opportunity today to share the love, joy, and kindness with others in the same measure Jesus impart those to us. Be generous, smile lots, and let others see Jesus in us.
