The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Hebrews 11:1: Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” Yes, that is the credo Christians have lived by since Christ came and died for us. We know it’s impossible to please God without faith. I remember as a child, trying to learn the King James Version of this verse: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.” We trust God through faith to do what He has promised us. Let us never forget this all-important point as we make our way each day. He will fulfill every one of his promises and will never leave us or forsake us. Amen!
