President Mitchell Chatman called the meeting to order followed by the prayer given by Chaucer Funchess.  The Pledge of Allegiance followed the prayer. Mitchell Chatman, Danny Craft, Wayne Womack, and Charles Westmorland were in attendance.  Donny Welch was not present but participated by phone.

Pat Brown gave an update on D’Lo water park.  The park is continuing to grow and have more visitors.  Mr. Brown asked for an executive session to discuss land around the park.

Greg Bonds, County Engineer, reported the New Hope Road is closed with work to begin soon.  5 projects are underway in the county.

 

Sheriff Paul Mullins’ report

 

Tax Assessor Jamie Brewer reported a new hire for her office.  The list of surrendered  tags and solid waste report was presented to the board members.

 

John Kilpatrick, Emergency management, had nothing to report.

 

Eric Bowen, County Administrator, addressed the following items:

 

 

Daniel Ferguson, Building Inspector, notified the Board that the county would operate under the International 2021 codes.

Following Attorney Danny Welch’s report the meeting was adjourned to an Executive Session.
