Due to Ida, the regular scheduled garbage pick up will not be followed this week.  Garbage will be collected on Thursday and Friday.

According to Mayor Dale Berry, “all limb trucks, the street sweeper, and personal are working to clean up our city following Ida.”

Remember:  If you hire someone to pick up or cut limbs, the limb company must be bonded by the city.  A list of bonded tree trimers is on file at City Hall.

The company that cuts the limbs will be responsible for removing the debris—not the city.
