Nina Mangum passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 24, 1963, to Woodrow Pigg and Linda Burkes Pigg in Jackson, MS.
She loved cooking for her family and everyone else. She enjoyed gardening and working on her flowers. She was a nurturer by nature, and helping others is what she did best. She adored her family and anything involving her grandchildren. They will miss her greatly.
Nina is survived by her children, son, Davis Mangum (Mandy); daughter, Julie Stanford (Jimmie D. Stanford Jr.); grandchildren, Destinee Stanford, Tyler Stanford, Ian Mangum, Colin Mangum, and her husband, Samuel Jennings.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband, James Earl Mangum; brother, Cleve Pigg; and sister, Darlene Hoover.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, with the service at 11:00 am in Tutor Chapel. Interment will follow in Sharon Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
