MageeNews.com was able to interview the newly crowned Miss Mississippi USA 2021, Bailey Anderson.
Bailey a 22 year old from Hurley, Mississippi, won the prestigious title and will go on to compete at the coveted Miss USA pageant.
Prior to winning, Bailey has competed in the pageant for the past three years and even was 2nd runner up to the reigning Miss USA from Mississippi, Asya Branch.
Bailey’s determination and drive helped her further her journey to the crown. Coming from a small town Bailey always knew she was different than her peers, as becoming a young woman she embraced her differences and teaches other young children across the state that being different is okay and to always be yourself.
Bailey is a registered Special Care Newborn Nursery Nurse. She says being a nurse is one of the most fulfilling things in her life, and being one of the first people to hold the special newborn is surreal. Being a newborn nurse she says she always wonders if she is holding a future Olympic athlete, future President of the United States, or even a future Miss USA, they all are little bundles of hope and joy.
We all want to wish Bailey the best of luck as she embarks on this wonderful journey to the Miss USA crown and we will be cheering her on every step of the way.
