New Cafeteria for Mendenhall Elementary School

The new floor plans, elevations, and site plan for the new cafeteria at Mendenhall Elementary School were released at the Simpson County School Board Meeting, Tuesday, June 30.  If the board approves moving forward with the plan, bids will be advertised on July 9, July 16, and open bids on August 7, 2015.

The contractors estimated between 300 and 365 days for construction of the new building on the last bid.  The building should be ready  for the beginning of the 2016 school year.
