Pierson Gilreath has been named MHS Band Director. Pierson is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and did his student teaching at Oak Grove High School.

Pierson will work with high school band students as well as teach two Music Appreciation classes to students.

I had the opportunity to interview Mr. Gilreath Wednesday morning, January 20, 2021.  He is excited about coming to Magee and working with the band.
