Nell P. Puckett Nix, 83, of Hattiesburg died Monday, May 2, 2016 in Hattiesburg. She was born Tuesday, April 11, 1933 in Mendenhall.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee in Magee, MS. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Magee. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601)849-5031
Mrs. Nix is preceded in death by her husband – Louis Nix; parents Richard Puckett and Mary Puckett.
Mrs. Nix is survived by her daughter – Pamela Nix (Tim) of Bath, England; sons – George Nix (Sherry) of Hattiesburg, Charles Nix (Robin) of Hammond; sisters – Lola Kennedy (Paul), Jackie Dockter, Janette Sullivan (Jimmy).
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee in Magee,
