On July 8, 2019 at approximately 10:30 PM, the Covington County Sheriff’s Department received a call near the Hot Coffee Community. Upon arrival, the deputies found 66 year old W. J. Seals dead in his home.
The murder is under investigation at this time.

(Sue note: I have been unable to verify this information. I was told there was a home invasion in the Hot Coffee Community last week. The front door of the home was kicked in and the homeowner was robbed but not harmed)
